Nokia Ovi Suite 2.0 Graduates from Beta
Oct 13, 2009, 8:08 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Nokia Beta Labs announced that the Ovi Suite 2.0 of software for PCs graduated from its beta status and will be widely distributed via Nokia's main web site rather than the Beta Labs web site. Nokia also said that it will begin to include Ovi Suite 2.0 on CDs/DVDs included in device boxes to make for easier distribution to new users. Nokia said that Ovi Suite is compatible with over 140 different Nokia models. Additionally, now that Nokia is bringing its Qt framework into the fold, it says it is possible that Ovi Suite will support other platforms — such as Mac OS — in the future. For now, it is limited to Windows-based machines.
