PhoneTag Voicemail-to-Text Service Now Works with Sprint
Nov 9, 2009, 8:38 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today PhoneTag announced that its voicemail-to-text transcription service is available to phones on the Sprint network. PhoneTag replaces carrier-supplied voicemail entirely. The service transcribes voicemails into text and then sends them as emails or SMS messages to a user-defined email account or phone number. This allows people to read their messages whenever they wish without the need to call into a voicemail system. PhoneTag is offering its service free for one week. Sprint recently dropped call-forwarding fees, which is what made PhoneTag available to Sprint's customers.
