Windows Marketplace Now Available to WinMo 6.0 and 6.1

Today Microsoft announced that the Windows Marketplace for Mobile is now open to devices running Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1. Users will need to download and install the Marketplace client to their devices before they can use it to access and download applications. Microsoft says that about 90% of the applications currently in the Marketplace will be compatible with WinMo 6.0 and 6.1 devices. Microsoft also said that the Marketplace now has more than 800 applications available.
