Google has made Maps for Mobile version 3.3 available to certain Android handsets. The newest version of Maps for Mobile has several new features, including the ability to access Google's "What's Nearby" tool, and new layers including Google Labs. Some of the Labs that are already available include category searches to avoid typing and the ability to see which direction you're facing when stationary. Last, users can report problems to Google via a new tool that will email a message to the Google Maps for Mobile team. Maps for Mobile 3.3 is available in the Android market for Android phones running 1.6 Donut and 2.0 Eclair. Android 1.5 Cupcake isn't supported.
