Xperia X10 Clears FCC with 3G for AT&T

Today documents seen on the FCC revealed a new variant of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 with support for AT&T's 850/1900MHz 3G bands. The FCC also confirmed Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Wi-Fi and aGPS. The X10 runs Android and has a 1GHz processor.

They're making two different phones for the same network thats compatible with one another?
