Today TruPhone debuted a new application for Android devices that lets users make free calls to other TruPhone numbers, Skype, and Google Talk users over Wi-Fi connections. TruPhone 3.0 also offers low-cost calls to landlines. Truphone also includes instant messaging support for Skype, Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo! and MSN. TruPhone 3.0 is a free download and is compatible with the HTC G1, HTC Magic and HTC Hero to start. Support for other Android devices running system software 1.5 and up will come later this year.
