Today Palm said that developers will now have the tools to integrate webOS apps, widgets and services across the entire internet. Palm will be offering a web site that houses all the apps for webOS, where more information, reviews and other data is available. Palm will let users click on an app from their desktop PC, have an SMS link sent to their phone, and have the app install over the air to the consumer's device. Palm also announced a webOS Plug-in Development Kit, will extend the capabilities of webOS to build plug-ins into apps. This includes C and C++ to enhance apps. Eventually the plug-ins will be integrated fully into webOS SDK later this year. Palm also announced that it is focusing on bringing 3D games to the Palm Apps Catalog from partners such as Glu Mobile and Gameloft.
