Today RealVNC announced VNC Viewer, software for the iPhone that will allow it to access and control a desktop or laptop computer. The software, which is a $10 download from the iPhone Apps Store, will let iPhone users run applications, access documents and change settings on Linux, Macs OS X, Unix and Windows PCs. iPhone owners can copy-and-paste between their phone and computer, view Flash-based web content (through the host computer), as well as use touch, tap and drag gestures to control the computer. VNC Viewer works with iPhones running system software 3.0 and higher.
