Feb 15, 2010, 5:57 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Nokia and Intel held a joint press conference to announce the marriage of Moblin and Maemo. The joined entity, to be called Meego, takes the best facets of each developer environment and merges them into a more robust mobile platform. MeeGo is an open source Linux project and will let developers use Qt ("cute") to write applications. MeeGo will target netbooks, entry-level desktops, handheld computing and communications devices, in-vehicle infotainment devices, connected TVs, and media phones.
