RIM Shows Off WebKit Browser

Today Research In Motion revealed a first look at its upcoming WebKit-based browser for BlackBerries. According to RIM executives, the browser downloads and renders web sites much faster than its previous browsers. The browser is still be tested, and RIM's executives wouldn't commit to a timeframe, saying only that it will become available this year. Apple's Safari browser for iPhone, and the Android browser both use WebKit.

I currently use the Bolt Browser on my Blackberry Bold 9700 because it is much better than the Blackberry browser.
