Nuance T9 Trace Announced for Touchphones
Mar 23, 2010, 9:19 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Today Nuance announced a new version of T9 specifically for handsets with touch displays. Similar to Swype, T9 Trace lets consumers glide their finger from one letter to another on their touchscreen QWERTY or touchscreen 12-key keypads to spell words. The software allows users to switch between regular typing and swiping at any time without forcing them to adjust device input settings. The software is being made available to handset makers and network operators, not directly to consumers.
