Verizon Sets March 29 for App Store Debut

Today Verizon Wireless announced that it will open its own mobile application storefront on Monday, March 29. The store will offer Verizon customers access to games, applications and other services that can be downloaded directly to their handsets and billed to their Verizon Wireless account. Verizon customers using smartphone platforms such as Android, BlackBerry, webOS and Windows Mobile already have access to branded app stores for their specific devices.
