Nokia Acquires Novarra Browser Builder

Today Nokia announced that it has acquired Illinois-based Novarra, a maker of mobile web browsers. Novarra sells its browser to mobile network operators and it primarily used by regular feature phones. Nokia said that it will deliver new services using Novarra's technology to its mainstream Series 40 devices later this year. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval. Terms were not disclosed.
