iPhone OS 4.0 Gains Background Skype Support

Another new feature of iPhone OS 4.0 that Apple revealed today is improved support for VoIP and Skype. The iPhone's multitasking capabilities will let users sign into Skype, and then send the app to the background rather than sign out, which is how it currently behaves. This means that users can remain signed into Skype and receive Skype calls when performing other tasks.
