MetaCarta Buy Adds to Nokia's Navigation Know-How

Nokia today announced that it has acquired the assets of Cambridge, Mass.-based Metacarta. MetaCarta provides geographic intelligence solutions. Nokia said that MetaCarta's technology will be used to complement its location services with local search and other features. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
