At the NAB show in Las Vegas, MobiTV, working with Triveni Digital, unveiled an interactive Mobile DTV service. The MobiTV Interactivity Server and Mobile TV Client will let broadcasters send live content to users that can be customized to user preferences, including clickable advertisements embedded within the Mobile DTV signal. At the NAB show, MobiTV is demonstrating a news ticker with live content from MSNBC, CNBC and Telemundo, and the service can also provide localized updates for services like weather and traffic. Broadcasters will also be able to push interactive advertisements that users can click, or collect data from their audience with a real-time polling service to let users provide feedback.
