Nokia Offers Qt SDK for MeeGo and Symbian Developers
Apr 29, 2010, 9:20 AM by Philip Berne
Nokia has launched a Qt software development kit (SDK) with support for Symbian and MeeGo operating systems. Qt has always been a cross platform tool for application and UI development, and Nokia has released the SDK in beta to developers using Windows or Linux, with Mac support expected to arrive in the near future. The Qt SDK will allow for development on newer Symbian S60 devices (versions 3.1 to 5.0), Symbian^3 devices like the recently announced Nokia N8, and MeeGo devices, which will presumably include the Nokia N900 or its successor, once MeeGo has been finalized and launched.
