LG Vu Plus Offers a Keyboard and Spec Bump
May 24, 2010, 9:48 AM by Philip Berne
AT&T and LG today announced the LG Vu Plus, an update to AT&T's MediaFLO-enabled LG Vu tablet phone. The LG Vu Plus adds a sliding 4-row, QWERTY keyboard to the Vu formula, among a few other minor changes. The new phone gets faster networking with 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and the camera gets a bump to 3 megapixels, up from the 2 megapixel shooter on the original Vu. Otherwise, the phone is similar to its predecssor, with a 400 by 240 pixel display and a proprietary, Flash-based interface. The LG Vu Plus will be available on June 6 for $200 with a contract agreement. AT&T is offering a $50 mail-in rebate in the form of an AT&T promotion card.
