O2 Reveals xda II Details

O2 today announced plans for a successor to its popular "xda" Pocket PC Phone Edition handheld. The xda II will add an integrated VGA camera, Bluetooth, full MMS, Java, and tri-band world roaming. The device will retain a similar form factor, but upgrade to Windows Mobile 2003 for PocketPC, a 65,000-color display, a faster processor, improved battery life, and an SDIO slot that will support Wi-Fi cards. The xda II will be available in Europe before the end of the year. The orginal xda hardware was also released at the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition and the Siemens SX56 in the U.S.
