Motorola Flipout a Compact Phone With Enhanced Blur
Jun 2, 2010, 8:00 AM by Philip Berne

Motorola today announced the Motorola Flipout with Motoblur, a somewhat unique swiveling phone coming to European markets this quarter. The phone strongly resembles the older Nokia Twist, with a square design and a keyboard that rotates out from behind the screen. The Flipout uses an enhanced version of Motoblur, offering new filters to improve the signal to noise ratio on your social network status updates. The phone also features improved power management features for better battery life and data management features for more frugal data usage. The Flipout also comes with photo processing enhancements from Kodak, though it will only feature a 3 megapixel camera sensor. The Flipout will be available in certain regions around the world, but US availability has not been announced.
