Verizon Wireless Launches MMS

Verizon Wireless today launched picture messaging services, including the new LG VX-6000 camera phone, MMS service, and the Pix Place online photo gallery web site. Picture messages can be sent to other Verizon Wireless MMS-enabled phones, to email addresses, or uploaded to the Pix Place web site. The service is priced at $0.25 per message sent or received, plus airtime. Monthly bundles of discounted messages are also available.
