Personalized Ringback Tones Gain Traction in Asia

Telecom technology companies WiseSpot and NMS Communications recently announced the successful deployment of the WiseRing personalized ringback tone service with two operators in China. The service allows mobile phone users to customize the tones heard by incoming callers while the phone is ringing. The service has also proven popular in Hong Kong, and is expected to be deployed in the U.S. by the end of the year.
