The Symbian Foundation recently announced that Symabian^3 is "functionally complete." This means that the system software has reached a certain level of readiness for developers and manufacturers. The software is not yet "feature complete," which would be the final version of the software. Symbian^3 will continue to be tweaked and finalized based on input and support from the Symbian community. It is expected to be feature complete later this year.
