Adobe today announced that Flash Player 10.1 is ready for handset makers. The software enables certain types of content on mobile devices within the browser. Adobe had promised it would deliver Flash Player 10.1 to handset makers by the end of June, and it lived up to its promise. It is now up to phone makers to add the software to their devices. A beta version of Flash Player 10.1 is already available to handsets running Android 2.2 Froyo.
