Chase App Lets Customers Deposit Checks from iPhone

JPMorganChase released an updated version of its iPhone app with one significant new feature. iPhone users can deposit checks into their Chase checking account by taking and submitting pictures of the front and back of the check. The application also lets users check their balances, send person-to-person payments, and search for local branches. The application is free, as is the check depositing feature.
