HP is currently offering both the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus for free to new AT&T and Verizon Wireless customers who purchase through the HP web store. Verizon Customers who choose the Pre Plus will get a free Bluetooth headset. HP is selling the Sprint Pre for $100, and the Sprint Pixi for $20. HP and Palm have also made webOS 1.4.5 available for download. This minor webOS update offers improved security, better text-entry within web pages, fixes a podcast bug, and better supports the webOS PDK. The system update is a free download available from Palm's support site.
