Symbian Foundation Releases PDK for Symbian^3
Jul 8, 2010, 7:43 AM by Eric M. Zeman
The Symbian Foundation recently announced the availability of the product development kit (PDK) for Symbian^3. The PDK includes the entire source code for Symbian^3, as well as the tools developers will need to refine their applications and services for the Symbian^3 platform. Symbian^3 reached the Functionally Complete milestone on June 16. It is now in the hardening phase, which means only small elements of the platform, such as the user interface, will continue to be tweaked by the developer community. The PDK is a free download for developers registered with the Symbian Foundation.
