LiMo and Gnome Foundations to Work on Linux Together

The LiMo Foundation and Gnome Foundation today announced a new partnership that they believe will help move the development of open source mobile platforms — specifically Linux — forward. As part of the partnership, the LiMo Foundation will become a member of the Gnome Foundations advisory board, and the Gnome Foundation will become an industry liaison partner for LiMo Foundation. LiMo already uses some of Gnome's mobile components in its mobile Linux platform. The two will focus on inproving Release 2 and Release 3 of the LiMo Platform.
