The BlackBerry Curve 9300, which showed up for sale on Rogers' web site last week, was officially announced by Research In Motion today. As previously reported, it shares most features with the current 85xx series Curve devices. RIM today called the 9300 "BlackBerry 6 ready," which means the device can eventually be updated to RIM's recently announced new operating system. The device will also be available in two spectrum configurations, 800/850/1900/2100MHz (supports AT&T 3G) or 900/1700/2100MHz (supports T-Mobile 3G) HSDPA. It will be available via select carriers starting in August.
