Google today introduced a new feature that is used with both its Chrome browser and Android handsets running 2.2 Froyo and up. A new Chrome extension adds a button to Google's Chrome browser that sends the current web page, map, YouTube video, or selected phone number or text directly to a user's Android phone. That content can then be accessed on the Android phone. In order for Chrome-to-Phone to work properly, Chrome users need tto install the proper extension in addition to the Chrome-to-Phone application from the Android Market. Both require a few steps to properly activate. Chrome-to-Phone is first available in English only. Google said it will add more languages over time. Both the extension and Android application are free to install and use.

I mean it does look interesting, but, is this more an effort in doing something so it can be done, or does it have a use? Since I'm stuck on 2.1, can't try myself.
