Google Earth for Android Adds the Ocean

Google today updated the Google Earth application for the Android platform, which now includes the ability to search through and explore the oceans. The application lets users dive through underwater canyons, view user-contributed videos and images, and interact with Flash content. Google Earth 1.1 works with Android 2.1 and 2.2 devices, though Android 2.2 is required to access the Flash content. The application has also been improved with better touch-based navigation tools, such as using two fingers to pan around and change viewpoints. Google Earth 1.1 is a free download from the Android Market.
