Verizon Wireless Refreshes 'My Verizon' Mobile App
Aug 30, 2010, 8:09 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Verizon Wireless today announced a new version of its My Verizon account management application for Android and BlackBerry smartphones. The refreshed application lets Verizon Android and BlackBerry customers: View minute, message and data usage; adjust allowance minutes on current plans; make one-time payments and set up and maintain auto-pay; view upgrade eligibility and contract end date; and manage Friends & Family numbers. It retains the original features, such as the ability to check balances, change features, reset passwords and use Family Locator. Verizon says the new application will be pre-loaded on all Android phones, and will work with the BlackBerry Storm and Storm2 to start. More smartphones — and eventually feature phones — will be added to the supported list of devices over the coming months.
