Sep 12, 2010, 8:35 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Swype recently announced another new beta version of its predictive text entry software for Android handsets. The current beta expires in several days, so Swype suggests that users of the current beta uninstall Swype and SwypeInstaller. Once uninstalled, users can download the new installer and new beta version of Swype. The new beta offers a number of new features, including more languages, several shortcuts, better handling of some contractions and similar words, improved word prediction, and a wide number of bug fixes for device-specific issues. The software is free to download.
