At a press event in London today, HTC unveiled its newest version of the HTC Sense user interface design. The new version will be complimented by online services at HTCSense.com. HTC Sense phones will sync some content with your computer, similar to FireFox Sync or Google's Chrome to Phone for Android. Users will be able to manage phone features, including call forwarding, frm the desktop. Sense phones also now include a phone locate feature, and a remote wipe. The new Sense concept gets faster power-on time, and HTC CMO John Wang says phones will start up in about 10 seconds. Sense also gets a unified inbox with Gmail-style colored labels. HTC has improved the mapping app on its phones with pre-cached maps to reduce or eliminate load times. HTC Sense is currently used on most of HTC's Android devices, and a version of the interface concept was used on HTC's Windows Mobile 6.x devices.
