Samsung Announces World's First GSM TV Phone

Samsung yesterday announced two new high-end phones for the U.S., including the world's first GSM phone with a built-in TV tuner. Both models are folder-style GSM 900/1900 phones with WAP 2.0, MIDP 2.0 Java, MMS, infrared and 40-chord polyphonic ringtones.
- SGH-P705: NTSC TV tuner with capture and send via MMS. High-resolution 262,000-color TFT main display and OLED outer display. Available November 2003.
- SGH-E715: Features VGA camera with flash, internal antenna, 65,000-color TFT main display, and large OLED outer display. Available with T-Mobile USA later this month.
