New documents published on the Federal Communications Commission web site reveal a few details about an unannounced handset from Pantech. The P9050 is a sideways slider touch phone that is confirmed to have dual-band 850/1900 GSM/EDGE/WCDMA and Bluetooth on board. According to the draft user manual, it has a 3.1-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels, a 3 megapixel camera with video capture, and GPS (though the FCC does not confirm details in the user manual). The user manual notes several AT&T-specific services, such as Video Share and Mobile Locker. Other features noted include support for microSD cards and microUSB. Neither the user manual nor the FCC indicates what operating system the P9050 uses. Pantech has not officially announced this handset.
