Facebook Working with INQ Mobile on Devices
Sep 23, 2010, 7:21 AM by Eric M. Zeman
According to sources cited by Bloomberg, Facebook is working with INQ Mobile on two separate mobile phones. INQ Mobile has made and marketed a "Facebook phone" that is available outside the U.S. for several years. Earlier this week, Facebook denied that it was interested in creating a mobile phone, but didn't rule out developing a mobile platform of sorts. Bloomberg's sources say that a Facebook-laden, INQ-made phone will become available in Europe during the first half of 2011, and in the U.S. — like with AT&T — during the second half of 2011. None of the companies offered comment to Bloomberg.
