Ericsson Acquires More of Nortel's Mobile Assets

Ericsson continues to snatch up pieces of the bankrupt Nortel's wireless service business. After buying the company's CDMA and GSM equipment divisions earlier this year, Ericsson has added to its purchases with Nortel's Multi-Service Switch business. Multi-Service Switch (MSS) technology is an important part of the backbone of CDMA networks.
