FedEx Improves Mobile Shipping Options

FedEx today launched a dedicated application for BlackBerry phones. In addition to the new application, FedEx also announced a new mobile version of its site, m.fedex.com, that will work with a wide variety of mobile browsers. FedEx customers will be able to use the new site to create a shipping label that can be emailed as a PDF file. Users can also schedule a pick-up and track shipments, or browse through the pick-up history. The site will offer some access to MyFedEx account holders. The site will also let users find nearby FedEx locations. In addition to the new mobile Web site, FedEx today also launched a dedicated application for BlackBerry phones.
