Cricket 'Ascends' to Android with Help from Huawei

Cricket today announced that it plans to sell the Huawei Ascend in the coming weeks for $150. The Ascend has a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 3G, Wi-Fi, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD support, and Bluetooth. The Ascend will run Android 2.1 and will be available with a rate plan as low as $55. The Ascend does not require a contract.
