AT&T Adds First LTE-Compatible Devices to Arsenal

AT&T today announced two new USB-based laptop dongle for wireless broadband. According to AT&T, both cane be upgraded to support its planned network updates to HSPA+ and Long Term Evolution. The LG Adrenaline will be AT&T's first LTE device, it will also offer GPS, and costs $50 with new contract. The Sierra Wireless Shockwave will be AT&T's first HSPA+ device. It will be offered for free with a new contract after rebate. AT&T plans to upgrade it's network to HSPA+ by the end of 2010, and will begin to roll out LTE in mid-2011.
