AT&T Encrypted Calling Sneaks Out
Oct 6, 2010, 11:19 AM by Philip Berne
AT&T has launched its new two factor encryption service, AT&T Encrypted Mobile Voice. The service works when you insert a KoolSpan TrustChip into your BlackBerry or Windows Mobile phone's microSD card slot. Then, SRA's One Vault Voice application offers a user interface to place and receive encrypted calls to other approved AT&T TrustGroup users. The service provides mutual authentication and end-to-end encryption to ensure call privacy. AT&T's service meets government standards for Controlled Unclassified Information.
