Samsung has revealed the Galaxy XCover6 Pro, a new "enterprise-ready smartphone powerful enough to support today's most demanding businesses". Its rugged design carries an IP68 water and dust rating, and MIL-STD-810H certification for drops, altitude, humidity, immersion, salt fog, dust, and vibration.
18 hours talk time??
That is impressive. However, which carrier will be supporting this phone? There was no mention.
AFAIK, Sonim phones are only sold unlocked (my local Best Buy carries them) and are used on networks requiring a SIM card. Check the videos on their website to see the abuse they put them through. Definitely worth the cost.
Nice
Unlocked means no specified carrier.
Except for construction workers, this phone would not go very far in the states.
Realy extreme but what about contract?
It definitely nice and almost unbreakable but i'm more about what kind of provider will have this baby in tariff and even more, what kind of tariff. I've done some searching and found a nice site with tariff plans from international providers - http://simtariff.com/. You can easily compare one plan to another and choose something of your choice. Maybe this handset will be also available.

Sonim
Was Sonim the company that made some sort of super phones for AT&T a while back? What was the feedback like as far as overall quality and usability of the phones?
