MiFi is for connecting your wireless devices to the internet right?

Suck.
$25.00 for 2gigs, supported natively by the iPad, unable to be shared with any other devices, NO-CONTRACT.
$60.00 for 5gigs, can be used with other devices, need to carry both the Mi-Fi and the iPad with you at all times, locked into a 24 month contract
With or without contract NO ONE is subsidizing this product.
Some math, if you're interested
That also comes with a monthly $20 data plan for 1GB per month.
Let's pretend you keep said package/service for two years.
That's $630 + (24 x $20) = $1110.
OR
iPad directly from Apple = $500.
MiFi is FREE with a new contract, but requires either $40/mo for 250MB or $60/mo for 5GB.
That's $500 + (24 x $40) = $1460; or
That's $500 + (24 x $60) = $1940.
Obviously, the prices go up for both examples if you choose a higher capacity iPad.
Verizon's $20 for 1GB is actually a pretty good deal when compared to $15 for 250MB or $25 for 2GB from AT&T, and the MiFi lets you use it with other Wi-Fi devices.
Just sayin'.
It's going to be hard to use the MiFi with any other device AND the iPad wit...
