Nokia Consolidates Symbian Development
Oct 21, 2010, 6:32 AM by Philip Berne
Nokia today announced that it will be focusing future Symbian platform development on the Qt application development framework. The company said it would stop distinguishing between Symbian^3 and Symbian^4 and instead offer users a regular and continual upgrade path to all the new features that S^4 would have brought to the platform. Nokia will also be integrating HTML5 into its Qt development structure for Web content and application for both Symbian and MeeGo, both of which use Qt.
