Kyocera has abandoned the Kurv, a CDMA phone it announced in March, which was to use technology from startup Wildseed. Wildseed said it filed a lawsuit against Kyocera alleging breach of contract. Wildseed's "smart skin" technology features intelligent faceplates that can add branded content and applications to phones. Wildseed said its deal for a GSM handset made by Curitel, announced earlier this year, is continuing.
