Adobe Expands AIR to BlackBerry, iOS, and Other Platforms
Oct 25, 2010, 7:39 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Adobe today announced AIR 2.5 for BlackBerry Tablet OS and iOS, as well as TVs, tablets and desktops. AIR 2.5 lets developers more easily port applications across platforms using existing code, which cuts down on the work involved. AIR already supports Android (and is available in the Android Market), and Adobe said a new AIR 2.5 SDK is available to developers starting today. Adobe said that Acer, HTC, Motorola, RIM, Samsung and others are expected to ship devices in late 2010 and early 2011 with AIR on board.
