Sprint Will Open Up Calling Features to Developers

At its Open Developer Conference, Sprint announced that it would expose its voice services to developers to allow new apps to take advantage of voice and messaging features on mobile devices. Sprint cites examples such as a social network or a mobile game with calling features built directly into the platform, instead of using the standard phone interface.
