Casio today announced the A5403CA, the world's first phone with a built-in 2-megapixel camera. The CDMA 1x phone, available only in Japan for KDDI's au network, also features a 320 x 240 pixel main display, 12.8 MB of memory, and an SD memory card slot. The phone is joined by four other new megapixel-camera models for KDDI, including a swivel-design model from Kyocera, an FM-radio model from Sanyo, a Toshiba model that can output recorded video directly to a TV, and a Sony Ericsson model with advanced recorded-video playback.
