Nokia today announced the 3660 smartphone. An update to the company's popular 3650 model, the 3660 steps up to a new keypad design and a 65,000-color display. The new keypad features a more standard layout, replacing the much-maligned circular layout of it predecessor. The phone runs Nokia's Series 60 smartphone platform and features an integrated VGA camera. A GSM 850/1900 version specifically for the Americas, dubbed the 3620, will also be available. Both versions are expected to be available by the end of 2003.
